Ministries of Soul Harvest Church

Children's Ministry:

We have an active children’s program that is focused on teaching children God’s Word while having fun. Our ministry currently ranges from ages 4-12. We have many special events specifically for the children with our biggest event being Fallfest—a Halloween alternative.

We use only qualified instructors and volunteers with a clean background.

Children can be dropped off in children’s church, the “Studio,” before service. They will have their own praise and worship, games, and lesson. It is a high energy, fun environment for all kids that teaches God’s Word.

When coming to church for the first time children may or may not be comfortable leaving their parents. This is normal and they are welcome to remain in the sanctuary for the message. We will make every effort to accommodate your children and make church fun for them.

Nursery and Toddlers:

baby Our nursery is built to accommodate all infants, toddlers, and nursing mothers. Trained volunteers will be in the nursery each service. Our nursery also has a special area that is available for any nursing mother to utilize during the service.

In order to insure the safety of our nursery, we have implemented a specialized system. When you check your child in, you and your child will be assigned a number and you will receive a security claim tag. Please do not lose this card. This card acts as a security claim tag to insure that no one without your permission will be able to remove your child from the nursery. We ask that you do not send older siblings to pick up your child unless arrangements have been made with the nursery volunteer.

Club 56:

5th & 6th Graders have their own class every Sunday morning. This age group carries a unique ministry opportunity in that they are coming into adolescence. Club 56 teaches the Bible with practical application of how these kids can make a smooth transition to their teen years while finding out who they are in Christ.

Godz Galz & Dog Soldiers ages 4-5th grade:

This is our Wednesday night kids & teen program. Our goal with this ministry is to train our kids to be confident leaders in Christ. Each Wednesday we have a practical Bible lesson followed up with training on real life skills. Godz Galz includes training on beauty, fashion, creative expression, hair care, and many other topics the girls love and enjoy. Dog Soldiers teaches the young men about practical outdoor activities and physical fitness. They have learned fishing techniques, tree and forestry preservation, how to tie a tie, and practical ways to take care of themselves.

We have also taught the groups on money management, table etiquette, and overall instilled a sense of confidence into our young people.

This is one of the fastest growing programs at the church and many kids from outside the church come just to be a part of it!

Youth Ministry:

Our Encounter Youth Ministry is an up and coming ministry. All of our messages are Bible-based and teach on subjects relevant to this generation and generations to come. Encounter Youth Ministry is dedicated to teaching God’s Word and giving the teens a firm foundation to build their faith upon.

We have special meetings and service projects for teens. Pastor Matt makes sure that every Sunday at least part of his sermon is addressed toward the teens in the congregation.

Youth meetings are held every Wednesday night at 7 pm

Men's Ministry:

Soul Harvest Church will host multiple men's events throughout the year.

The purpose of Soul Harvest Church Men's Ministry is to:
        1. Deal with unique issues to men
        2. Build relationships among the men
        3. Help men to understand that becoming Christ-like does not mean giving up their
            manhood

Missions:

Soul Harvest Church actively supports missions to Mexico, Jamaica, Romania, The Ukraine, and beyond. We have invested in an orphanage in Mexico by giving Christmas gifts to all the children and paying for much needed supplies.

Monthly Birthday Fellowships:

Every month there is a birthday party for anyone with a birthday or anniversary that month. (adults only) This ministry helps
build relationships and strengthen the church body.

Marriage and Family Ministry:

Soul Harvest Church consistently teaches on marriage and Family. Our ministries include:

          1. Marriage Seminars where we will be teaching practical ways to get the most out of
              being married.
          2. Parenting Nights where we will be ministering practical application from the Bible
              to help raise children and teens in a tough society.
          3. Marriage & Pre-Marriage Counseling wherte we will be offering counseling to
              anyone experiencing trouble in marriage to help them restore love and joy to
              their homes.

We also want to meet with engaged couples to give them practical ways to start their marriage off correctly with topics including finances, communication, in-laws, spiritual equality, and intimacy.

Women's Ministry:

Soul Harvest Church will host multiple ladies events throughout the year. These events will include guest speakers, food, and lots of fellowship.

The purpose of Soul Harvest Church Women's Ministry is to:
        1. Deal with issues unique to women
        2. Build relationships among the women
        3. Help women to effectively manage the unique roles they play in life as a Christian

Ushers:

Our greeters and ushers will be some of the first people you see when you come to church. You will be greeted at the door each service by one of our church members. Any church outline will also be given to you as you enter the church by one of our greeters.

Our team of ushers will be throughout the parking lot to help maintain and monitor the parking. The ushers will also be throughout the church to help you find seats, serve you communion, or anything else you may need.

Visitor Connect:

We have carry-in dinners multiple times per year for anyone who has visited the church recently and would like to get to know the pastor or ask any questions about the church. One of the greatest obstacles people face when starting to attend a new church is feeling like they fit in. These fellowships will help determine whether Soul Harvest Church is for you and to become part of the family!

Fellowship:
